Modeling Geographical Systems(MGS) Commission of IGU is calling for new members International Geographical Union Modeling Geographical Systems Commission (IGU-MGSC) has started the call for new members. The vision of IGU-MGSC is to share an interest in developing the theories, dynamics, simulation and decision-making of geographical systems using statistical and mathematical approaches, and further to enhance research on modeling and simulation methods and other technological advances for geographic pattern analysis and process exploration. Nowadays, all scholars and students who have interests in our vision are welcome to apply. And it's free! As one of our members, you can enjoy several benefits: • Participation in all IGU-MGSC conferences and awards competition; • Joining the mailing list to receive updates; • Free copies of IGU international reports presented to IGU-MGSC assemblies and the published conference proceedings upon request; • Access to training courses at times as the need is demonstrated and the financial support is available; • Preferential treatments in exhibitions of IGU-MGSC. Please help spread the news to your colleagues, students, and many other groups who might be interested in IGU-MGSC. Let us grow our group, form a strong academic community, and jointly promote the rapid development of geographical modeling research and applications. How to Apply? Modeling Geographical Systems(MGS) Commission of IGU is calling for new members

International Geographical Union Modeling Geographical Systems Commission (IGU-MGSC) has started the call for new members.

The vision of IGU-MGSC is to share an interest in developing the theories, dynamics, simulation and decision-making of geographical systems using statistical and mathematical approaches, and further to enhance research on modeling and simulation methods and other technological advances for geographic pattern analysis and process exploration.
